Aging is a part of living, my goal is to help you navigate the housing transition with ease. As a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), my passion and respect for older adults stems from my personal experience caring for family members and friends.  As a result of helping them and those who provided them with care, I gained insight into the challenges, systems and choices inherent with aging in our San Diego community.

My story.

I’ve experienced first hand the confusion and emotional upheaval involved in finding housing for a loved one. I had a sister who was very sick and was being discharged from the hospital. As we weren’t equipped to take her home, we had two days to find a skilled nursing facility. The hospital handed us a list of more than 100 options. It was winter and we were in the midst of a blizzard, the perfect storm if you will. What were we to do?

After this experience, I dedicated myself to ensuring that others would not have to deal with such situations without personal support.

Let my years of experience give you peace of mind and relieve the stress of choosing a residential community for your loved one I have experience in navigating the housing options serving our elder population. My background as a senior manager in financial services provided me with a unique understanding of the financial demands inherent with housing and aging.

I will work to give you and your family a direction, help you make informed decisions, and take the next step with confidence.  I know what to do and where to begin, and how to navigate the system without you having to make the extraordinary time-consuming effort.  The risks associated with the selection process can be mitigated by using the service provided by Senior Care by Design.

I am driven by passion, dedicated to changing the aging paradigm, and aware of the challenges and choices that your family and loved one face when choosing the right independent, assisted living, memory care and continuing care community.
